Dr. phil. Peter Schwind,

Fascial and membrane technique: Extremities
There are relationships between the cavities of the trunk and the limbs, that we will describe by previously explained first steps of manual diagnosis.
Then we will evaluate the inner dynamics of the extremities. We will look at the deep layers, like the intermuscular septi and the interosseous membranes. For treatment of the upper extremities we will apply the techniques for the following clinical situations: Frozen shoulder, epicondylitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. For the lower extremities: Dysfunctions of the hip joint (including onset of osteoarthritis) as well as the knee and the ankle. In addition, we will discuss the consequences of casts and similar devices and their treatment.
Fascial and membrane technique: Advanced course
The basic courses of Fascia & and Membrane technique guided you through the main parts of connective tissue structures. Its focus was to clearly localize and the treat movement restrictions within the different structures.
This teaching concept leads to a very detailed treatment within certain areas of the body.
In the advanced course we will develop a meaningful sequence in terms of treatment steps. How do interventions on the trunk, affect the extremities at the same time? How does the treatment of the arms or legs affect the trunk, and especially the back? How can we touch the “endless web” of the fascia distant from the problematic zone in such a way, that we can resolve this problem area without touching it directly?
This course is designed to guide you into building a meaningful session and prepare you for thinking into a meaningful and effective treatment sequence.
Visceral manipulation part 3 Organs of the thorax
This third part of the visceral series deals with the visceral components of the inner structure of the thorax. We will start with the natural breathing motion of the thoracic organs. Some local and global diagnostic items will be introduced, to arrive at a detailed diagnostic picture of the inside of the thorax.
We will focus mainly on the fixations between the different layers of the pleura and the surrounding tissues and the ligaments between the cervical spine and the endothoracic fascia at the top of the lungs.
Special attention will be paid to the layers between the lungs and the tissues related to the heart.
Fascial and Membrane technique: Cranium Mandible Neck
This three day course will give an overview about the connective tissue relationships between cranium, mandible and neck. There will be an anatomical introduction for a series of techniques which find their application within the
following themes: hypertonic and hypotonic structures around the TMJ;
motion restriction and instability within the cervical spine; specific applications for whiplash. We will especially focus treatment strategy of hyper-mobile joints. The techniques will be demonstrated within the contextof diagnostic palpation. We will respect that the cranio-mandibular area is connected with global movement restrictions and types of shape.
