Fascia and Emotion

Since the research of the American Neuroscientist Gellhorn the relationship between tensional patterns of the organism and emotion has been a challenging theme of science. After the results of recent research about fascia Gellhorns early findings have found new interest. And this is not only relevant for theory. Looking into the relatedness of the biochemical processes of the organism and fascia will enable us to apply our manual techniques more efficiently. In this course we will have an introduction into the scientific base of the theme „Fascia and Emotion“. However, our main emphasis will be practical: –      How can we recognize the dominant emotional pattern? –      What kind of signs should be respected especially? –      In which way is it possible to make the emotional pattern of chronic tensions a port of a successful treatment? –      What are the segments of the organism and what are the types of tissue that require special attention for the dominant emotional pattern? What are the most efficient techniques to treat this segments and types of tissue? –      How is it possible – and how far is it possible – to include certain areas of the brain into our manual approach? To participate in this course experience in treating fascia and visceral struc- tures is helpful but not strictly required.
